Fritscher Gallery exists to bring the work of Brazilian artist Rômulo Fritscher to collectors and art lovers worldwide.

Rômulo Fritscher was a photographer, filmmaker, and visual artist whose career spanned four decades of Brazilian cultural life — from the film sets of the 1980s to the streets and stages of Rio de Janeiro. His photographs document a world of extraordinary richness: the texture of cities, the dignity of people, the light that falls on things when no one is performing for the camera.

Argentinidad, the series at the heart of this gallery, was born from a journey to Argentina in July 2005. It ran as an exhibition in Rio de Janeiro and Niterói to critical and public acclaim, and remains one of the most complete expressions of his eye as an artist — precise, warm, and deeply attentive to the soul of a place.
